The Firefly 2 is the second iteration of the on-demand, dynamic convection, portable vaporizer from Firefly Vapor. Firefly was founded in San Francisco back in 2012. The heat up times on the original Firefly was pretty much game changing and they have made the Firefly 2 heat up even quicker. You can start a session with the FF2 in as little as 3-5 seconds.

The original Firefly was also fairly low maintenance, but the new unit has some of the lowest upkeep of any of the portables I own at this point. Like the original FF, this unit is perfect for someone who is looking for a premium taste with a smooth cool temp. The Firefly 2 has nearly instant on-demand heat up which works great for people who like a really quick session or prefer to split bowls into multiple different sessions.  The unit is now very similar in size and weight to the to the Crafty and the Air vaporizers. While the FF2 is not the most discreet unit at first glance, its near instant heat up for quick sessions and minimal smell compared to the average portable vaporizer makes it pretty easy to use on the down-low. The Firefly comes with two easily swappable batteries which is really cool since very few vapes come with more than a single battery. The unit also comes with a cleaning kit that includes two plastic toothpick/sword tools, and a great multi sided brush, and a couple isopropyl alcohol wipes. The unit also comes with a usb charging dock, and concentrate pads. To use the Firefly 2 vaporizer for loose leaf use hand torn or coarsely ground material. Fill the glass chamber just past the rim and tamp down gently. Make  sure the interior surfaces are free of any debris before replacing lid. Place fingers on both touch sensors to start heating. the led will turn solid green when it is ready. keep fingers in place for 10 full seconds long deep draws are best. Release touch sensors to stop heating repeat. To use the Firefly 2 for concentrates place concentrate pad in heating chamber and press firmly in to the bowl. Place a small amount of concentrate material in the center of the pad. Replace lid and touch the two heating sensors. Hold sensors for 5-10 seconds cigar style of smoking after initial heating return to normal inhalations.
